Right. If all he wants is loud, get V&H straight shots and remove the baffles. Instant drag pipes. Loud as hell.

I just installed V&H Slip Ons ($229 + Ship = $245), and man oh man are they friggin' loud!!! I spent some time looking/pricing the quite baffles, but have decided to leave as is, and wait for the cops to tell me it's too loud. I was next to Kansas Highway Patrol yesterday, and as long as it was 'idle' and slow, he didn't seem to care. Just can't believe how loud they are....but I love em!!!!!

Anyone have an opinion on the Python 3s? http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...XDC-Parts.aspx

For around $250 I'd like to add something like this, and with slip-ons I can just do those, right, without the need to do anything more?

I have cycle shack slip ons. The baffles come out with a bolt. If you REALLY want loud, get some drag pipes, cut and flare them at the muffler jount and use them as slipons. I have done it.
