Does anyone out there have a set of Rush slip ons installed and do you like them I'm going into the local indy. and picking up a pair for my SG. None of my friends have them on their bikes so I'm looking for any input, I'm thinking on going with a 1.75 baffel. I have the 07 SE pipes (junk for sound) and the Cycle Shack #MTO 129 WAY TOOOOOOOOOO LOUD
I've got em on an 07 Dyna, 1 3/4" baffles. They sound good to me, not obnoxious loud but certainly not quiet if that's what you want. The Dyna muffs are 3" diameter. Is your "SG" a Super Glide or a Street Glide?
I had a set on my sporty. They have a really nice sound. I originally was going to put them on my FXDL but after 3 1/2 weeks got sick of waiting for them to arrive... so I cancelled the order and went with the V&H big shot staggered.
[>:]yup i got a pair on my 06 wg. personally i dig the sound esp. when i open the beast up. my ol lady likes em better than the stock and as a bonus a few more horseys plus if i dont get on it to much, better mpg. i got baloneys w/2" baffles. heard a remap is due for certain size baffles.bigger or smaller than 2's i dunno?[>:]
I have the Rush slip ons on my 2007 Bob! I like them pretty good. I am just used to something louder, I used to have Vance & Hines on my previous bike.
Ihave them on my "06" street bob, sounds good, my brother-inlaw has a "05" lowrider and has seII's on it. He said that he likes the sound of the rush slip-ons better than his seII's. I have the 1.75 baffles.
I really like the Rush pipes on my 'Train. You might also want to take a look at the stuff these guys have, http://www.epcostainless.com/mufflers.htm#3 . I got a pair for my Triumph and they are great.
