im debating between the python 3.5 slash cut slip ons and the rush big Louie slip ons. which ones do you guys like better. going to be put on with a set of V&H dresser duals. thanks
Big Louies are 4" and sound deeper to me than the 3.5" Pythons. Are you going with 2" or 2 1/2" baffles if going with Rush? My buddy has the Pythons and they are a little louder than my Rush.
I have the Rush in my sig pic with stock headers. I like the sound. If you don't change the baffle wrapping, they will mellow just a bit. I agree with others on the Pythons.

Reason: typo
I have not heard the Pythons but have the Big Louies on my RK because I heard those and loved the deep, mellow sound. Even on long highway rides, they sound good to me. Not very loud and no drone. Nothing worse than being behind super loud pipes with tons of drone on a ride, quick way to a headache.
I have a Rush 7017HO and Big Louies with the 2.25" and 2.5" baffles. I will be selling my complete system here in about a week. I love the sound and the service Rush provides, with that said I am about to start a build and will be going a different route on exhaust.
Hate work not sure which baffle size im gonna go with was gonna call rush and talk to them. which size baffle are you running in yours?
Big Louie's are 4". I didn't like the 4" so went with the 3". I have 2" baffles which was recommended by Rush's staff.
What I can say, is their product's quality is top notch. I have owned the slash down and now the 3" cans with tips. Not one complaint.
We are comparing apples to oranges as I have a jackpot header (no cat) so mine will be louder than someone who has a cat. FWIW, when I am cruising down the highway, the sound is fine, but if I am on uneven terrain or in the mountains, the dB level is high and I wear ear plugs. Hope this helps. Good luck on your decision.
