Default Sprockets and Shizz

I won't lie, I'm no gear head by any means, I do know that you can change sprockets on street and dirt bikes to increase acceleration at the expense of top speed. You can do the same with Harleys (granted its pulleys and not sprockets), I'm just wonderin if it has the same effect on a Dyna to an extent where its really worth it.

hBone, it's really worth it.... if you want and/or need it.

You will be looking at several hundred dollars to do this.

One way is the thirty tooth transmission sprocket
this is keeping the belt drive
very limited advantage if you stay with belt drive.

I'm in the process of converting to chain drive,
and there is a lot more range up and down.

Check Andrews and Baker, they both make different size front sprockets that are popular for just what your looking for.

Mud, you using a kit for the chain conversion or putting something together yourself?

rook, all that is needed is front and rear sprocket, and the chain.

Just pick your ratio.

I'm making up a spare wheel so I can swap easily back and forth
when I want to go to the dragstrip.
