Good Looking Primer
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
How long you been around? Take a look at forum moderator Tom Battersby's 06 FXDI (Mudpuddle) 'brick' or the 'mudsickle' if you haven't seen it yet ...
I asked him about a year ago "what color are you going to paint it?" to which he replied he is still thinking about it:
"I may or may not finish paint on the brick.
If I do, it will not be high gloss, that would mean I would have to get out every single little blemish in the bodywork.
Flat or satin, with some vivid pinstriping.
Running good is more important to me.
Just sold my 46 Chevy AeroSedan.
I've had it for 28 years, and it is still primer.
I always called the color Arrest Me Black."
Just tell 'em it's "Arrest Me Black" ...
WRT the Sportster comment ... having owned a couple, I'm sure you don't take offense ... and, as you're aware about 90+% of the public at large (and half of Harley owners) don't know a FXR from a FXE ...
let alone a Dyna Street Bob from a Sportster ....R/
