I'm having fun with everyone. Thanks for all the great compliments and I totally expected the good natured ribbing. I'd have been disappointed otherwise. I just laughed at the drunk chick in the bar and all my responses here have been in jest...'cept maybe for the threat to join the XL forum....grin....those guys are REALLY friendly cause they all wanna know where I got the 1600 Big Bore kit (great idea kk6pg - I owe you a beer).
That's the tricky thing with these forums. Sometimes it's hard to tell when people are joking or not. I'm not upset. How can I be? I own a flat black 2008 Dyna Street Bob Sportster that's been punched out to 1600 cc's. I'm king of the world.

Yeah, I've had people ask me if it's a sportster as well. I just laugh it off and start explaining how they can tell the difference. Usually if they really didn't know they appreciate the lesson, but if they were trying to get a rise out of me they don't want to listen, it becomes apparent pretty quickly which group they fall into... if they fall into the second I usually have a 2 word phrase for them.

thats a great story.... Your bike looks great man, nice work.
When I bought my 09 in September I was thinking about all I was going to do to it as I rode it home to my shop. Took it apart that same week.
