Id hate to see us dyna lovers divide up so i vote no. That said yes im a little over saturated with the "bob", you'd think being a semi old fart (50) id be into old school but im not, maybe cause i was there. My tastes run more to performance and pro street style bikes. But you see thats the great thing about a dyna, it does all things well!
I'd hate to see them separated, I like to get ideas, and check out all bikes.
agreed!
keep the dyna forums together!! Especially since it's the same frame and drivetrain as the other '06 Dynas, so much of the information is interchangeable and useful to other model owners.
I saw a Vivid Black Bob and a Black Denim Bob side by side. And I must say the Vivid Black looked nicer, maybe its the shine. Anyhow tha, tha, tha, That's all folks!
some of you say the bob is the best bang for the buck of the bt.the plain jane fxdi is 1k cheaper.what i cant understand why buy the bob and add passenger pegs and full seat kinda defeats the bob i think .should have got a can of black wrinkle and painted the plain jane motor and have dam near same bike but at 1k cheaper just my thoughts
that is true phreak but not much else diffent for 1k difference.just seems funny to me most are defeating the looks of it by with full seat and backrest etc.myself i think id use the 1k differce and buy lace whee;s if wanted em and sell the mags and still have good chunk of change for tank and cateye dash and bars
I think the blacked out engine and laced wheels are well worth the price alone. Show me a cheaper way to get that from Harley. I hardley think you can compare a can of wrinkle finish spray paint to the powder coated and painted finish of the Bob not to mention the polished fins. It is definitely a bargain.
