I'd hate to see them separated, I like to get ideas, and check out all bikes.
agreed!
keep the dyna forums together!! Especially since it's the same frame and drivetrain as the other '06 Dynas, so much of the information is interchangeable and useful to other model owners.
Wally
I agree as well. Keep them together. Show Bob some love!
I like all the Dynas in one forum because for the most part all the tech questions and specs are interchangeable. The only thing I would like to see is a way to see pics of just wideglides or just lowriders or just etc, etc. but so far I haven't found a way in search that works for me. There are certain things that pertain just to your model that would save alot of time if I could view pics of just them instead of having to look thru all dyna pics just to find how a certain seat looks on a wide glide, or handlebars on a lowrider. Ya ya I know thats being nit picky but it is available in the other forums? THX
thats basicly what i said on page 2. keep everything in the dyna forum together but have the differnt model section just like in the softial section. Questions, pics, rants and raves that are specific to that particular model. not just the bobs but the low riders, wide glides, superglides 35th, ect.
oh yeah the blacked out motor is worth the 1k extra i don't particularly care for the silver finish motor(please no one take offense) and the handlebars were very comfortable, so for me, i think it was the best bang for the buck, just my opinion. passenger peg mounts and a pillion aren't that much money if you want to ride two up, and its easy to take the passenger seat of when not in use. its a very versatile bike, another plus for me.
what a phat load of turd this thread is it should be flamed and deleted.Get with the program, get on ya bike and get rid'n.It's a ****'n dyna end of story like it or lump it.
NO.NO.NO. ain't we been through this before.....no seprate forum for FXR.so than none for the bob. but it is weard though??? when i had a flat black flh in 85 it was a rat bike.....wow times have changed.....now there the cool'st thing out there....go figure
FREEBIRD
i don't particularly care for the silver finish motor(please no one take offense)
I take offense!! Silver shows off the engine much better. The black engines just disappear into the frame.
I don't care for skulls (puke)...so I guess we're even.
On the subject of the original question...I'm sick of seeing the name "Bob" everywhere too but in reality the bike is really the same thing as the rest of the 06 Dyna's. Same frame, same engine, same transmission, etc. So all of the tech as far as engine, frame, and performance mods apply to all of the 06's and to a lesser extent the rest of the model year Dyna's as well since many parts are interchangable from year to year.
Maybe next year HD will come out with a "Street Joe" or a "Super Tom" and then we can all be sick of Joe and Tom for 2007.
Maybe a chopper shop will convert a Street-Bob into a Street-*****. 120" motor, etc...
The summer is coming and everyone will be out riding and these threads about Bob and other Dyna's will die down.
And if they don't then some people aren't out putting miles on their scoots and should have their Dyna's put in storage until the beginning of Winter. lol
Just want to know who here is sick of seeing and hearing about bobs, bob this bob that. I like the bikes don't get me wrong but I am sick of reading bob bob bob.
So the poll is: Do you want a separate Forum just for bobs?
The street bob is really a super glide , with ape hangers and solo seat , great bike!!
