It's a Fat mini ape weekend.....
Well, 1.25" mini apes and risers came in Friday. Time to install 
Putting the wires internal, and adding chrome clutch/brake handle mounts.
In the middle of putting wire extensions in the stock FXDC wires.... I'll post pics later....

Yup. Got the bars just snug so I could run the wires and the stock wires were too short. 
The fat riser kit raises the bars another 2" from what the 1" bars are sitting at. Glad I waited to order my cables The streetbob takeoffs should work until the new ones come in though.
splices.....
8" extensions wired in....
taping off all the holes in bars, so I can 'blow' the feed string through the bar... works like a champ
Left control is on, and braided wire loom on wires.....
Just some FYI on the Molex style connectors in case anybody else needs the info: this is how you get the terminals out...
This is the "tool" I made to use to get the terminals out. It's a end piece of a throttle return spring.... works perfect

I always liked the looks of those 1.25" apes. Make sure to post a pic when done.
My Bob had apes on it and now it has drags...now for this year may go back to apes. Since I sold all my Bob stuff cheap, what would you want for your apes and cables?
I get bored easily!

The ink is about 2yrs old, but thinking about taking the arrowheads and encircle the arm side by side.
I'm done and I'll post some pics here in a little bit, had to get a bite to eat.
