Hey,
I was wondering if anyone here has ever done this them selves, and if so how hard was the removal and install of the new upper/lower rocker covers. I just got a brand new set of Nightrain rockers from a fellow board member and have been considering putting them on myself. I have the service manual, but was wondering if any special tools or tricks would help this along?

It isn't too hard. You'll need to remove rocker assemblies. You will need to torque everything per the manual and some of the bolts are in a very tight space below the frame, so you need to rig up some adapters that let you get the torque wrench in there. J&P sells a set of short hex (allen) wrenches designed for this job, but you can rig up your own.
