What are you doing with all the used shocks? I'd like to start down the path of rear-shock-experimentation too.

Four shocks?, for the edification of the masses, list the ones you didn't like, I bought 440's on a reccomendation, hated them, sold them for less than 1/2 what I paid for them and was happy to get that, I am very happy with the shocks I have now(YSS Z series) but four! different sets, I felt bad that I wasted money once, you've wasted way more, no disrespect but you need to research more before you spend.

First of all who are you to say i dont do my research? Everyone that knows me knows im a freak when it comes to research!!!
So many opinions out there, sometimes in life you have to live and learn and try something out! Someone can tell you that somethings great, then you buy it and man it sucks @ss,,kinda like a great movie your friend says is great, you watch it and hate it,or its just a dumb movie. How do you do the research on that? You watch it! Still no disrespect, just sending out a imho point!

I might try those yss shocks out,if i remember right they were ugly to me but, may perform well,if they dont can i blame you lol

Have had the stock hd shocks (good) hd 1in lowered shocks (ummm not the best) prog 412 (sux) and now my 440s (sux even more)

#1 choice so far would be the 1in lower hd shocks,,,so far.. stock shocks rule if you want to stay stock height!

Well that is a matter of opinion for sure. But I can state for fact that my bike pulls alot better alot better with the baffle configuration I have now, than it ever did with no baffles at all.

mine are backwards and 7 in inside the pipe... i did this casue after my tune i had a gap around 5500 RPM slamming 4th... flipping them worked great! ... i have made several sets of lollypops for the chops... but i got my BCT baffles for 22 bucks on ebay used... as did my brother (25 bucks) (that was shipped to our door)
nice part about making you own lollypops is you can make them tuneable by adjusting the angle of the nut... awesome, if your bike has a carb, if it is fuel injected you can do that all on the tuner... i am a huge fan of the BCT baffles, not so much of the SOUND at all... but more of the power they can generate out of shorter pipes (br 2-2) personally i HATE the sound, i am just not a fan of crazy loud bikes... i ride with too many people and it is not cool to be next to them just ROARING in their ear all day... plus i tour on my bob.. ALOT... and after 8 hours for 4 days on the bike wiht that pipe just SCREAMING at you it gets old...

I installed my BCT's 2 days ago and i personally think it was the best 91.75 dollars i've spent on the bike.......but im not over analizing everything about them either. I guess if i sat down and tried to think and right down everything that i didn't like about them im sure i'd could find something.
