Default BCT opinion

Well i put them in today and,,,, I went from open pipes to these. I think they are OK, seems to be a little deeper, maybe maybe a 1db quieter,( sux but who could tell, did take out that raspy straight pipe sound, which is an opinion on if its liked),i did feel a hair of a power gain (which is great) something i could have made for $.33 cents! Cost 97$ to my door! Now come to think of it i wish i just made my own,all it is, is a lollypop! Stem and washer. Theirs looks like a crimp on wire loop thingy. (gay) But same thing i guess.
Now if i went from a baffled pipe to these i would be more impressed of the louder db level! So someone with stock baffles i would recommend these! Or make your own!

Anyone that has these, have you tried them backwards, or moving them back and forth? What was the outcome?

Just an observation, but you don't seem to like any exhaust system you have bought. Where do you get all this money to buy systems and baffles? Exhaust systems are not cheap.

I posted a thread today on my BCT experience with my V&H Straightshot Slipons. My motorcycle runs excellent. I think you are looking for an exhaust system to give you what can only be gotten via something like a 103/110 kit.

If you have money to burn, take your bike to a someone you trust, tell them you want 100hp and 100 foot pounds of torque, and then pay them to do that. Their dyno will prove what you are paying for - and you can stop spending money on exhaust systems and exhaust components you don't like.

Well...Your right im picky on everything,im not afraid to tell the truth or my opinion. (to me when i like something it must be dam good).
Money is money..im ju$t as poor as everyone else! If i buy something i hate ,i will try again and again even if it takes hundreds or thousands of dollars, reason because i have too or it will bug the chit out of me,if i dont like it i cant sleep, stop thinking errrr it just has to go,when i cant find the answer than there is a problem, happens sometimes,so i move on to something else then come back to it later..(like my shocks) And prolly the pipes! (but the pipes to me are OK for now! i rate them a 7!
The 103/110 might be the answer.thanks.

I like your thoughts! Makes me think! More than i already do...

On my 4th pair of shocks and still hate them, they suck, progs 440 (suck),,
Im ready soon to put some hard struts on it anyways, (prolly feel the same as my 440s)..
im shopping for a streetglide at the moment, i want my confused dyna and my comfy streetglide, hoping to get a 105th to match my other. I will find one someday soon!

Good observation too! :-)

You were warned that they suck and still bought them.

Also, being able to rate a vance and hines pipe a seven is really good in my book.

Gwjvw, your alot like me it sounds. A perfectionist! That can be a good thing, or a bad thing at times. LOL! I have been doing alot of experimenting with baffles in my pipes. Right now they are pretty much how I like them. The bct's changed the tone to a deeper note, but in my opinion too load. Adding a half of the original v&h baffle quieted them down just a bit. The bike runs great now. Still plenty loud too. I went past a bud of mine on the freeway (he was in his truck) I was two lanes in the comuter lane. He said he heard me coming and going.

i want my confused dyna
Ha Ha Ha, that's funny. They get even more confused when people call them Sportsters. My buddy just bought a Night Train so mine thinks it's a Night Train now...

What are you doing with all the used shocks? I'd like to start down the path of rear-shock-experimentation too.
