Pcv?

What kind of performance increase should I expect from a PCV without aftermarket pipes and air intake? I plan on upgrading both at a later date.

A cooler running bike without the hesitations and huccups. You wont notice much of a performance gain till you make it breathe better

I'd like to know how much one costs and if it's true they are causeing poorer gas mileage?

I believe they are just under 300, and to make a bike run cooler, you need to modify the timing and enrichen the AFR (more fuel) = less mileage. Increasing performance also takes a toll on mileage. If you are mostly concerned with mileage, leave the bike stock.

I just added my PCV, Heavy Breather and D&D Fatcat. I was curious and checked my mileage yesterday and got 43MPG. That had some town riding and with the new exhaust I am sure I have been on the throttle a little more than normal.
