Default Does this look right?

Should the wiring from the headlight (black one at the bottom covering part of the VIN) be this tight against the steering head when the handlebars are turned all the way to the left?

Nope. That looks pretty tight. You should have more wiring in the backbone that can aleve that tightness. Connector might be hung up on another connector.

I just looked at mine, it has a little slack... I could still pull a little more from the neck... you may be able to... it's not hard to fix yourself though either. you can either pull the wire connectors out from under the tank, or you can pull that rubber grommet out of the neck and see if you can get a little slack out... that's the easier way. The grommet is a little tough to get back in, it's a tight fit... should take care of it though.

Thanks man... Just pulled on it a bit, has enough slack now to fit my pinky under it, may pull a bit more, just don't wanna damage anything, but the pic helps..

BTW, just PM'd you about the seat right before I read this. LOL
