When I drilled my stock mufflers to 3/8" it sounded pretty good. Then I decided to drill them out all the way and it sounded like a piece of paper flopping in the wind. I finally decided to go with the straight pipes from Dennis Kirk. As far as a reprogram, I feel it is not needed.

Have to agree with stevent. Was gonna get the sell's but the service tech actually talked me into letting him remove the baffles, do the se air cleaner and ecm download. Runs like a champ. Sounds great. No popping or backfiring. If there is a loss of low end punch I am too unrefined to feel it.

take a good 1.50 inch key hole saw and remove the center sect. and leave the gass pack then take a ball type ginding wheel and finish out the end and they sound good if you dont finish the ends down to the welds of the glass pack it will have that blapp blapp sound
