I just went to Lowe's and got an 1 1/8 socket to remove the rear axle nut. The socket fits but is a little loose. I don't know if that normal or if the nut is metric on an 2006 Wide Glide. Do you guys know for sure?

I'll ditto that Murph. The axle size went up to 1 inch in 2004 and newer. I have a 2003 Dyna (narrowglide front end )and it is the last year using the 3/4 inch axle....pg
