I would have rather had a custom chopped fender, or one of the strutless items you see on the german bike websites, but my patience and skill are in short supply. I like the look of the strutless dynas but I'm to chicken to sawzall the frame. I was worried about paint match and figured that a stock demin fender had to match.

Nah........I would say you do have a custom chopped fender. Just need to move that dang license plate is all. You made it work out really well.

Love both ways of doing it. I especially love the fat bob tire. Looks so fat and sweet with the chopped fender. Wish those tires would fit my bob!

Jim ...

You did an outstanding job on that project!! And ... your method of pulling parts together to make it work is pretty damned smart. Hell ...all the MOCO does is mix parts around and change the name from time to time. Great job!!

Looks great! Would definately like to hear more about the issues with the strut covers and what you had to do to work around it.

Looks fantastic! Nice job!

This is why I love the Dyna area. Its not about shiny store bought add ons, but real do it yourself ingenuity. You guys have given me so many great ideas. Keep up the good work!

Which proves the old axiom ... 'there's more than one way to skin a cat' ... one way usually just costs more ... I'll let you sort that out ... [J/K] ....
