I have done them on cafe's and one set on a harley... i did not use CGR, i used the 20 dollar kind from Ebay...
cut out the metal ends on the grips, used some thick oil hosing on there... had to get longer bolts so that it would work but they worked great... i can snap a pic or two of the ones i am using on the cafe if you feel it will help you... sickwitit also has them
I have bar end mirrors on my Street Rod. They were the only mirrors I could find that worked without me twisting my body out of the way (probably neeed a smaller body)
I really like them, both the look and the functionality.
Only minor issue is clipping car mirrors when lane splitting, (legal in California).
Also, I needed to cut off the end of the grips to insert them into the bar. Took minor surgery on the throttle side. Very easy to do, but not reversible (i.e. if I wanted to remove them I would need new grips i think).
I used a different brand than CRG, but they are a really nice product.
