Hey, since nobody else replied, I'll admit I'm not a fan of the paint scheme, especially if it costs more. But, it's just an opinion and I don't hold it against anyone that does like it. There are more paint schemes I don't like than I do like and it's just one of them. Some guys don't care for chrome, I do. Some guys don't like the grey powder engines, I do. So what? I didn't buy my bike for anyone else and neither did you. I don't like saddle bags, windshields, or big sofa seats either but I own and use 2 of those 3 things when I feel they are necessary.
Besides the paint scheme, I personally thought it was ridiculous to have a 105th anniversary anything. Seems like it's kind of like old grandma. Once she reaches 100 you have to make a big deal out of every birthday after that because it may be the last one? What gives? The Wide Glide, however, is an exception in my book because it was the last year for it. I think they should have made a separate big deal out of that and done something special just for the WG. But then they probably would have sold too many of them to discontinue them to begin with.
