Default What tire pressure to run?

What tire pressures are you guys running in your Dyna? Mine came from the dealer with over 40 front and rear. I hit some decent bumps and almost lost some teeth. Otherwise the bike has a nice ride. I think I'll go to around 35 and see how that is?

I just follow the owners manual's suggestions on tire pressure. Works fine.

I was told by PVHD to run 36 in the front and 38 in the rear, which is different than the manual!

Yeah, that sounds about right to me. I'm going to try those pressures. Thanks for the replies everybody.

I was looking at my tires the other day and the front one had it stamped to run 35 but the manual say to have 30. The rear had 42 stamped on it but again the manual says to run 36. Who to believe the people that make the tire or the manual? It also stated that you should check them when cold I believe.

I have 30 in front and 36 in rear like the manual says. When I take it to the shop for maintenance, he pumps them up a little higher. I guess the higher the pressure the longer the tires will last. (I been meaning to ask him about that) But I feel the 30 / 36 gives me better traction and a softer ride. I'll trade a few miles of wear for better traction any day.
