Default Ooops!

Well, while simulating a load on the bike this afternoon trying to let the tuner do it's job, I kind of smoked the front brake rotor. Not to mention there is NO feel to the front. Hope I didn't do any more damage than boil the brake fluid. So, I'm in need if you know where one's laying around. Thanks!

Dammit Boy! You got that HOT! Can I say " YOU BIG DUMMY"
You might have screwed your caliper up as well. Try changing the fluid out and see what happens, after new pads. LOL

I know this is not what you need to hear, but DUH anyway.
So how's the tune now?

So did you warp the disc? Flush out and bleed the brake system. If the pads aren't too bad try sanding the pad braking surface, just maybe some serious glaze.

Ya ya ya, I know! ****, and I was going to ride tomorrow too! Oh well.

The tune is a little better, but it backfires thru the intake on startup now. Didn't do that before. Still rough between 2.5 and 3K. That's why I was loading the bike, so the tuner would stay in the band longer while on the gas. I brake a little, then let it cool. Then brake, and cool. I repeated this probably 10 times, letting cool I thought enough in between. Guess not huh? It was starting to smooth up a bit in the buzzy range when I quit to come home, and noticed the blue.

I just tried squeezing the brake, I have to pump it up now to get any feel. Uh oh!

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Rotor is toast, as are your pads. Fried the fluid also. Replace them all, and then find some hills, and a passenger to load your bike.... or a dyno.

I just bled the brakes but good. I've got feel again. I've already got pads here, just need to get a wrench to fit. I've also got my eye on a rotor on flea bay.

Hills in KS? Are you kidding me? I can't hardly find a curve, let alone a decent hill!
