Pledge won't make the denim shiny. It will, however, give it a "glow" that looks great.

Lemon Pledge

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll def try it. One question though. The spokes rusted out rather quicky on my last bike. Don't want it to happen again. Is Pledge as effective as regular car wax?

I carry a can in my tool bag along with a rag and besides general cleaning, it is great to de-bug the windshield when on long trips! Like mentioned earlier, just let it soak in for a few minutes and the bugs disappear!
