Strange noise.

Default Strange noise.
Strange noise from right side of bike around the 6 speed cover plate. After a short ride today I noticed this noise after shutting down the bike (key off and kill switch off). Sounds like something is still running. After listening for a while, about 10 minutes, the noise starts to slow down and finally stops, At first it sounded like something was boiling but after the second ride it sounds like something is still running after the bike is shut down. Any ideas.

its probally just the exhaust cooling down... makes alot of creaking and tinking sounds as it cools

+1 in the exaust heat shields, the stock ones make a lot of racket. After market systems are a lot quieter.
