Went for a couple of rides today and found myself on one stretch of road that I could see waaaay up ahead on. Very straight, no other traffic except for a truck way up ahead of me. So I nailed it thinking I'd go for 105 since the fastest I'd been on this bike so far was about 101. But 105 came up so quickly that I held on a couple of seconds longer and hit 115 before backing down. There was that a truck ahead and I didn't want to spook him by coming up on him that fast. The bike was still pulling pretty good. I'm thinking it's good for at least 120, maybe 125 or a little better, even. The motor seems peppier since I've put a few miles on it. I'm at about 3800 miles on it. 2009 Street Bob with Jug Huggers, SE intake, PC-III. Nothing else done to it performance-wise.
my stock train can berily hit 100,damn I miss the power of my warrior, when you do 100 and hit the throttle you better hold god to the bars, because that bitch won't stop puling untill she hits the revlimiter @135mph

Hey, I had a 2005 Midnight Warrior. Mine would run up to 132 (indicated) on the speedometer before bouncing off of the rev limiter. I think I have a couple of pics of it in my profile on this forum. (yeah... pic below...) I still catch **** from my Warrior buddies for buying a Harley. But I still ride with them anyway. Looking forward to a September trip out to Tail Of The Dragon with them to show them how well a Harley can do up there. One of the Warrior riders who's been talking trash to me about buying a Harley just got back from the Dragon and he crashed while he was up there. I have a feeling he's gonna be in for a surprise when I meet him up there in September.
Had mine doing 125mph on a wide open straight level interstate 380 in iowa just north of Hiawatha. Felt it might have a little more but had to back down front was a little wobbly with the wind and apes, very intense. 09 bob with V&H big rad, forcewinder A/C, V&H FuelPak. 75.2HP and 90.6Trq
Last weekend I had mine up to 100, just smooth as butter right up there, and there was more twisting to do. . . . But I didn't do it. That's fast, that's intense, that's exciting! Felt stable and steady. What a bike.
Man, the other day and decided to jump on it a bit while on a longer on ramp. I was doing 100+ by the time I was to merge. Didn't feel like I was going over 70.
By the way guys you know if a highway patrol gets you on radar at that speed your riding days are over. Just saying. I travel ALOT and they are out if full force because of THEY'RE recession.
I'v had my v-rod to 120 many time and still in 4th gear.
Just today I figure the Fat Bob is broke in enough, let see what it can do.
Well it got to 100 nicely but at 105 it sure didn't feel as stable as the v-rod. Since I was on a public road, (no one else in site) I figure I don't want to press my luck, so I back off.
I love my Fat Bob but it sure aint no v-rod, and I didn't expect it to be so I'm not complaining.
We gota ride schedule out on hwy 50 next month, the loneliest road in America, I'll have to see if I can get it up to 115 or more as long as no other vehicles are in site. And sections of that road (great riding) you can go for an hour without seeing another vehicle.
