Rick, the new pics make more sense. With your pull back risers I am sure in the stock position it would be near impossible to see, great placement and great idea, may have to steel the idea. May have to look at similar idea for a tach on mine.
I have a 99 FXD and have been exploring my options. I'm tired of the buckhorns and looking at all the exposed wires.
At what point do you have to change cables and brake lines? Can you do mini apes and still use the stock cables? I look at the buckhorns and looks like I could "straighten them out" and the cables would still fit.
Your speedo relocation opens up some options.
Thanks
Does anyone know if this chrome gauge holder will work with a 2009 gauge on a FXD? I see that it fits a 2008 gauge just wondering if 2008 gauge is same part number as 2009. I appreciate all the help.
Looks different nice. The speedo was the one thing I hated about my bike but I had the Mickey Ears. I did a Dakota Digital gauge and made a bracket for it.
Here is an option from Dakota Digital. I think you could do something similiar with an autometer guage for less money; I beleive they have one that is 2 5/8.
We make different mounts for t-bar setups, this is the one I run on mine with the Dakota digital, also has provisions for bolting a tool bag to it.
We can make this in pretty much any shape or configuration.
