I have the plug n play as SC said and do like it, but if you want something for a tall bar, you might think otherwise, especially if you plan to hang a bag on it. It works great with the low to mid narrow stock HD sissy bars.
If you put any weight on it up higher it be be a problem. If you only want it for show, then it should be fine.

I use it with a tall bar and there is some wobble if you grab the bar and pull, but it's reasonable, and definitely works with a passenger.

you know what... that detachable side plate looks soooooooo much better than the harley!!! i think that might be something worth taking a look at! i almost wish they were ridged mount and not quick detach though...
