Hi there ,I am new to this forum and I need some help on exhaust .I have a 2008 dyna lowrider and it has stock exhaust on it and I want to put a new exhaust on it .I really want something that does have some bark to it but not to the point of driving my neighbors crazy . I was thinking of slip on mufflers but I don't have a clue what to buy .there is so many exhaust systems to look at and it is confusing to me .So could you please help me with this problem.
Welcome to the forums! If your looking for some slip-ons check out rush. www.epiflex.com, go to chrome series than click on dyna. You can listen to their slip-ons with different size baffles. They sound pretty good in person too!
Stock 08'?
Unless you really want to get into doing all kinds of research and just want an easy plug n play talk to fuelmoto, cool that hot puppy down and get a little better performance,, think they are a sponsor on here.

I have an '08 lowrider with a stock exhaust too. Been researching new exhausts for about a month now. I'm still haven't decided if I'm going to go with a 2-2 or a 2-1. You'll get better performance with a 2-1, along with cooling the bike down like the other poster mentioned. If thunderheader made a better looking 2-1 I would have definately gone with that....but we'll see, I still might go with TH. BUB, IMO, makes a nicer looking 2-1 but I don't know too much about them.
If I deicde to keep the same look as my stocks pipes are now I also looked at Supertrapp Mean Mothers. Vance & Hines is also an option, I just saw that they make a pretty nice looking Big Radius 2-1.
I'm taking my time with this. Talking to a lot of guys and planning on heading to as many bike nights as I can to take a look at what other bikes have.
Keep in touch if you like and we can compare notes. Good luck.
I've got a 2007 Low Rider.........and opted for the V&H Q Series Double Barrels. I also wanted something that sounded deeper and more throaty. These pipes produce a nice deep rumble that's loud enough to be noticed, but not irritating to the neighbors. A vast improvement over stock. I'm very, very happy with them........ check them out on the V&H site.
I also went with a SE Stage I AC and a PCIII, plus I had them richen up the mixture. They have it running way to lean to pass the EPA standards and I didnt like it running that hot.
Here's what the V&H Q-Series Double Barrel look like on my 2007 Low Rider. Today was my first ride with them on. The sound is outstanding. Plenty loud but not ridiculous. I am extremely pleased with these pipes.
The $300+ price tag of the Rush slip-ons is hard to swallow. I mean, c'mon, they're slipons. You can get a set of the non-epa SEII's for less than $100 and they sound AWESOME, IMO.

Better yet, a set of V&H short shots in chrome for $300! Most people that buy slip-ons, usually get rid of them and go for a full set of pipes anyway.
