Mid Control Brake

I have mid controls on my 09 Street Bob. The brake control is too low for my liking. Is there a way to raise this conntrol so it's easier to use?

Yes there is... a serviced manual will show the procedure...or the harley dealer could adjust.

It's very easy to adjust but you don't want to run out of thread so using the manual as a guide is best.

the threaded rod under the brake lever has threads adjust it to get the lever up or down depending on your liking but be careful to know how much thread is the min amout that you can have left or you may find yourself in trouble with a missing rod or a rod that falls loose when your riding. as there is not a whole lot of adjustment in that rod.

I noticed the same thing on my 09 FXDC when I first rode it home from the dealer. I had traded an XL1200C with forwards, and that brake really stuck up in the air! I took it back the next day and they adjusted it up for me at no charge. If you just recently bought it, maybe your dealer would do the same for you?
