OK I been searching and searching and searching on here. I know someone from the forums makes a speaker bag set up and was wondering if anyone had the link and reviews? Also I been looking at all the different brands of speakers for my dyna, I would appreciate anyone who has had experience with any brands to give me feedback. They are all expensive and I have only heard the kuryakyn ones in person. I really want to get music on my bike, I am sick of singing to myself haha Thanks
I had "Rumble Roads" on my last bike, and they were slick.
They are self amplified, water proof speaks installed in chrome light housings (KC Daylighter), that use a 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo plug to tie in any MP3 player. Complete with line filter, all cabling, etc.
I checked on a set up for my new bike and see they have various wattages and the splash that class d amps have made has really opened the market up for them.
VTL which rumble roads did you have, I have seen like 4 different kinds. thedonthere that is against the law here plus I'd much rather have the speakers so I can hook my sirius satelite radio to them too.
The ones I had were from about 5 years ago, were the only available at the time from a local retailer (Dr. Mudspringer), and were $349 or $399 @ the time.
It was a package with the handle bar mount speaks, lead wires, inline choke(noise filter), and cable conduit to make it look as close to OEM as possible.
Looking at the new ones I see they have them @ $249. It appears to be a complete set up.
As far as choices, we can't expect "fidelity" from anything in that enviroment, but even the lowest wattage units should give enough volume to be heard well while cruising.
