Default Oil temp gauge
For those of you that have been looking for one, Harley just came out with a oil level/temp gauge for 06 and up Dyna's. Just thought I'd pass it on, it's on their web site.

LEDs? I'll pass on it. Seen enough problems with the LED oil temp/level gauges on Sportys.

HD should make us a mechanical temp gauge like the one for the Sporty.

I would love to have a oil temp gauge on my 08 DWG but I haven't found one yet.

ok so it wasent easy and im not done but wait till you see my mod for a hidden fuel gauge and fueltank mounted oil temp gauge...soon boys soon lol

Added oil pressure and temp gauges to my Dyna. Put the temp sender in cavity for oil hoses, between the engine and transmission on the line returning oil to the oil sump / pan. I see what actual oil return temp is.

i have used a oil temp gauge on all the harley's i have had it has helped.they are great to have and work pretty good.

The gauge is expensive for about a 100 more dollars buy an oil cooler.

imo oil coolers are useless...as in they only work when your moving..id like to monitor the temp when im stopped or in slow traffic
