Whatever you do, DO NOT put put gear oil into the primary

My bike was in the shop for IPS leak. They put Syn3 in the primary when doing the work. I didn't like it and drained it after 200 miles and refilled with Formula+. Works much better in my bike.

whatever you're using in your motor will be just fine. the heavy stuff is for the transmission. you got a clutch pack in the primary and it needs something that's made for it, rather the plates in the clutch pack are made to run in motor oil, preferrably synthetic as your adjuster nylon shoe will last a whole lot longer.
