Do a search for this topic. You'll find some good past discussions about windshields. I ended up with a full size quick release from HD. I love it.

Ilike windshields. I've been riding for 30 years and always have problems with vision and my ears catch more wind than a sail. With a shield I can wear any glasses and enjoy my ride without feeling like a leafblower is in each ear.

Love it. I got the detachable but only use it to move it up and down depending on the ride.

I have been riding for 40 some years and the windschield is a must. Screw what other people think.

I bought the windvest and I have taken it off one time since buying. I am 6'2, bought the 16" tinted, moved the handlebars up a bit and it is perfect. Just my personal opinion, I thought the hd detachable took away from the look of the bob even though they provide better protection. The highway is not a problem with the vest.

I have a quick release on my Bob. Really like it for out of town travels. Keeps a lot of pressure off my chest and arms. You will notice more engine noise with a windshield.

I bought a detachable for my super glide sport and never take it off. I haven't bought one yet for my lowrider but I know once i finally do I will probably never take it off. ya they look ugly, but so does your face after a long ride without one. If ya get caught in a rain storm they really help alot. One of those things you hate to buy but they are worth the money. just my 01 cent, mojo
