78 superglide, early and late model difference?

78 superglide, early and late model difference?
i have a 1978 superglide fxe and im trying to order a service manuel for it but HD said that there is 2 versions of the 78, an early and late one but the guy couldnt tell me what the difference between the two were so i didnt know wich manuel to order, the only thing he said was different between the two was the intake but i got my bike with an s&s on it already.

Maybe this can help you. This link take you directly to a Swedish site and downloadable Shovelheadmanuals. The site is in Swedish but you will se there are 2 servicemanuals for the 1978, for free!

The manuals are in .pdf (You need Acrobat Reader)
