Rocker box covers

Rocker box covers
If I wanted to change out my rocker box covers to wrinkle black, what would I need? Are there gaskets under them? I would guess there are....is it very difficult or just a few bolts? I know I would have to remove the tank.

Upper Rocker covers are easy, its just a matter of 6 bolts. The lower ones require a little more work. You will need a service manual and be able to find TDC before removing the lower cover. You have to do them one at a time and make sure the push rods spin freely when reinstalling. It can be done without removing the tank but I think the 15 minutes to remove it is worth it.
