Thanks y'all !!! I know, I know, I was looking at slip ons tonight...It never fails...I put 100 miles on in two days, I can't stop riding this bike. I felt like a traitor trading in the Nightster, but as I ride this bike more and more, I find myself dreaming about it. Maybe I should seek professional help ????

I love mine and have gotten rather accustomed to braking/shifting with my heels, when needed
I wanted forwards BADLY when I bought my bike but You couldn't GIVE me forwards now!
There's nuthin' like upshifting with the side of your boot heel! It's an acquired art but an art just the same

Congrats, I got my 07 FXDC two weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I have mids with highway pegs. Mods will have to come slowly, since I had to finance it and I'm looking for a work. Sooner or later it'll come together though.

I decided I wasn't going to break the bank with forwards. I also installed highway pegs and began using my heal to break and shift. It's not difficult and I have the option of using the mids.
