I love looking at these forums. I think I would spend money with mods either way. Hopefully with the forums I will be able to choose some mod a little more wisely. That's what I tell myself anyway.
J. Never mind these guys. You're ok, I see nothing wrong with spending every sweat soaked, knuckle busting dollar you earned on some MOD for your scoot.
The price list posted or suggested is menial compared to the smile, satisfaction, and happiness doing these mods and perfecting your bike will bring you.
I for one am of the F*+K it school. And say
F*+K it, let's do it.
So, ill be the first to say it.
You Aint screwed, your Just Fine.
I'm with you. I got on here and thought damn, my bike looks really plain! Now I've learned to deal with the bike envy I get every time I open a thread on this forum!!!
I've heard .. when you unload your wallet a bit, you sit a lot straighter in the seat (instead of kinda tilted) .. it's easier on your back. That's how HD goes just a little further and tries to help us out. What a concept!
After owning Corvettes pretty much all my life, I've got absolutely nooooooo complaint as to the cost of mods for Harley's. This is very reasonable compared to Vettes (and most other cars I imagine).
I cant stop.....seems the more I change, the more I want to change...as someone already stated in the forums...welcome to the fun/dark/dyna side...enjoy!
Didn't you know HD stands for HUNDRED DOLLARS.My first bike an '02 Deuce( dammit I miss it) I spent at least $8k on extra stuff. I bought an '07 Street Glide thought I would leave it alone, but oh no the bug hit me again.that time I only spent about $5k in extras. Now I'm looking for another bike gonna be a Cross Bones or Fat Boy Lo. Lord help me.
