09 fat bob pipes and ecm stuff

I read this post twice, circled 3 times. I'm still Lost. I think I'm going to the stupid section.
My issue is this. Is it necessary to remap, change Fuel to. Air ratio with every exhaust swap. Or is this something done just to tweak her.
If so. How will this affect warranty issues god forbid something goes haywire.
Granted many here haven't seen a warranty on their bikes in years.
But some juveniles like me, who are new and learning, are concerned.
Be gentle... I just want to be 100% before I commit to a Mod.

Its necessary to remap with every exhaust change.
HD warranty is basically ****! They told me if i as much as fart on my seat, the warranty is gone.
But most fuel management systems are plug'n'play so u can always remove them before you visit the dealer. and the system adjusts to stock ecm settings.

went and did it
Got the v+h pro pipe bp and the fuelpak and the high flow harley air cleaner and installed all 3. Man what a difference! More power, sounds better, runs cooler, and smoother! Took it on a long test ride and had a blast, no sputtering, no nothing just perfectness!!! I am very pleased with the outcome of this project!

mine ran perfect off the floor too. I guess I just wanted more sound but still liked the quiet exhaust. What a difference it made with the changes! Still running perfect.

Mine ran perfect off the showroom floor too. I didn't do my mods because I needed to, I did it because I wanted to. I put on a set of V@H Big Shots Staggered, a PCV from Fuel Moto pre programmed and a heavy breather because in my oppinion the stock dyna air cleaner and cover is ugly. Now my Fat Bob Looks cooler, runs cooler, has more power, sounds way better and I enjoy riding it way more than I did when it was stock. The mods for me were well worth the time and money. To me stock is boring.

Hawkeye49, I'm glad to hear you are happy with your mods as well. I seriously considered the pipe you went with and would still like to try it one day. Oh well can only have one at a time, when or if I ever change pipes again I might try that one or the Chrome D&D Fat cat. Happy motoring to ya.
