$9,500 is a bit high, but then again it is an FXR so he will probably get it.

I like it anyway.

I've been looking at FXR's quite a bit lately, it seems $9K and up is the going rate unless it's a complete piece of ****, even then your looking at $8K and up.

Theres something about 2003, FXR and Special Construction that raises a lot of questions about the history of the bike.

$9500 for an 80" motor and a 5 speed?

I'd get a 07-08 FXD, spend $1500 on suspension.

It would be easier and cheaper to get an FXD to handle like an FXR, than to get an older FXR to perform and run like a FI 96" 6 speed FXD.

JMO of course.
