Slip-ons slipped off?

Slip-ons slipped off?
My slip-ons slipped off the other day while heading down the road, then slipped under a dump truck, so now I am looking to replace them with a full exhaust system. I love the looks of wrapping the headers but I am not sure which pipes to get. Any suggestions?
Also has anyone wrapped over the heat shield?

You don't wrap over the heat shield,think of the gap! The wrap has to hug the pipes man! You could get more slips , if you want pipe suggestions there are many!

all come off the top of my head. It really depends how loud you want or how much performance , or what style you like,you have internet go google and have fun!

most V&H pipes have removable shields
some rineharts have welded shields
most 2-2 pipes have shields that run the entire length - removable or not.
if you want a 2-2 system and want to wrap the header - you probably need to stick with slipons.
if you want a 2-1 system - most have removable shields so you can wrap the header and leave the muffler chromed.
