I have to go and look at the chart again. I told the dealer that if the FXDL was no longer going to be produced after 2009 that I wanted to buy another bike so I could keep the mileage down on my 2009 FXDL. I was told there would be a 2010 FXDL. You would think they would have sold me another bike.

While I generally agree with being skeptical about what you read on the web, this one has been confirmed by a number of dealers, so it seems pretty solid. Of course, Harley could have sent out the email to dealers to get their reactions, and everything is subject to change until it's really announced. So even if they were thinking of cutting the Lowrider, they can still change their minds.

There's also the possibilty that it's replaced by a Lowrider Custom, or Darkrider, Nightrider, Lowglide, or Lowfat or something, even if there's no FXDL, there could be FXDLC or FXDD or FXDN or FXDLF or whatever.

The dealer meeting is July 25-27 in Denver.

The CARB site to see what CA has approved for 2010 is http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad/.../2010/2010.php. But don't expect to see anything interesting before the dealers meeting. Last year the carryover models were published in June, but the new models (CVOs, touring) weren't published until after the announcement.
