"Quiet" performance 2-1's?
If I didn't have my ThunderHeader, I would buy this-they are cable adjusted for noise on the fly, so you do have a choice-

That's a hell of an idea. I'm not crazy about the looks though.

+1 Those who say they are not obnoxious are....., well that's their opinion. They are not quiet. I have a Supertrapp on mine, a car model on a D&D 2-1 header (I had the D&D Fatcat with "quiet" baffle, the "quiet" portion is a joke. Be happy to sell you the muffler though
).
).
) but if I try I can keep it pretty mellow. I was thinking of trying WS6 Formula's baffle mod and cut the baffle open to pack it with fiberglass as he said it deepens the tome and mellows it out at higher RPMs. What would you want for the baffle?
Put the Cycle Shack 2" 2-2's back on today; they are a bit quieter and sound better than the V&H Stepped drag pipes I took off; now I just have to get back on the dyno and see what things look like on "paper".....hopefully in the next week or so. The Cycle Shacks sure aren't finished as nice as the V&H pipes, though. Guess you get what you pay for; at least in the finish.
