Default Chrome front caliper (pix later today)

Had another fun day. Started out with a couple of hours with the Wide on the Pitbull; a can of Lemon Pledge in one hand, and soft new shop-rags in the other. I'm now a believer in the stuff. While doing the Miyagi Shuffle (wax on, wax off), I noticed my RR axle adjusting bolt was MIA. Rode to the dealer before they closed to see if I could get a fix before the shop closed. They didn't have one in stock, so they borrowed one from an '09 Bob on the floor. On the way home, I stopped by Schucks for a jug of DOT-4. Got home and drained the system, then installed the shiny caliper I got from Timberwolf. I hadn't done a drain, flush, swap, add, bleed, nor any other front brake work before. Had it pretty well figured out in my head, and confirmed with the manual before beginning. Would have been easier with help, but it's not too bad solo. Somewhere in the five feet between my bike and the Onan generator I set the master cylinder cap on, I managed to lose one of the cap screws. Looked for it 'til I was borderline loony, then just borrowed a chrome one from the shiny M-C I'll be installing soon. Got in a test ride and everything works great. I managed to lose the noisy/dragging pad issue I'd had with the stock unit since my chrome lowers job. That was frustrating; had to lightly finger the brake lever at slow speed to silence the annoying drag.
Swapped out the big wide sissybar/backrest for the mini in my sig pic, and rode it to work again tonight; the 2nd/3rd shift guys are starting to check the bike out each night, to see if they can spot the latest chrome addition!
I feel like I'm fast approaching the "clean" look I've had in my head since I bought the bike and began making it my own. That's all for now.

Sorry about the neck stretcher...here's a rotated version

This guy kept wanting to help organize my tools...

Also put the mini bar back on, since I'll be riding solo for a while...

It does become an obsession.

Right after I bought mine, one of my g/f's g/fs said to her "you know you're going to play second fiddle to it now, don't you?" I give them equal time and I do my best to make them both scream at the appropriate times.

[edit]

Let me clarify. I'm talking about bike/girlfriend. Not g/f / g/f although that isn't a bad idea either.
