Default tank emblem question
i am looking for a new tank emblem and i really like the one on the 1996 heritage (see attached). the local dealer told me that it's protected and i have to trade in old ones to get these. anyone know how i can order them without trading any in? anyone have some to sell? thanks.

I'd say try another dealer.

That sounds like a bunch of BS.

Try Dennis Kirk and/or J&P Cycles I have seen quite a few emblems in the catalogs. Pages 405-406 J&P Cycle cataloge $38.00 each page 470 Dennis Kirk

I've never heard that before. My dealer said as long as it's not an anniversary model, or a screaming eagle, they can get any emblem you want.
