2009 Dyna Custom.. HD says the bars wont work on an 09.. If any of you guys are using diff slammer bars on 09 custom. can you tell me what an post a picture.. Im finding it hard to belive they wont work.. But I dont know crap. I did search an all I see is them on 08 are later..
Unless you have a bike with integrated riser, they won't work. Unless you swap out the top tree.
Um, do you mean if you have a bike with integrated risers they wont work? And in this case you can get the spacers made by loner industries to make them work.
Or you can get the spacer made by Loner Ind. (which I didn't know he made.) Thanks for clarifying.
No prob, I have been checking into this my self. Torn between apes and drag bars.... cant make up my mind. Maybe I should get another bike then I can have both. Don't think the wife will let that fly
As far as I know they'll fit. I don't think there were any major bar changes between '08 and '09. A word of advice...be sure the bars are perfectly straight before the install. After 8 months I now notice mine are slightly off center in the risers. Too late to do anything now so I'll just live with it. You'd think a bar that expensive wouldn't get past the QC but mine did.
I know for a fact they will fit. I have a friend with them on his 09FXDC. I rode with him today. I won't see him till next weekend but I'll try to remember to get a pic.
