I have had the XiED Resistors Wires on my 2009 for just under 500 miles now. I don't have any way to measure the Temps, but the Scooter sure seems to run smoother, no sign of surging. Idles smoother I think too. I may still need to do a Tune since I have Stage 1 Air and D&D Fat Cats.....maybe could tweak a little more performance....To me the important point is the Spark Plugs look just fine....Not too lean.

How did you hook up your oil temp gauge? And what gauge did you use?
On the Xied's, I had them last year. I measured head temp pre & post over a variety of days and conditions and rides. I found NO difference in temperature.
I have no idea why, I just know they didn't work for me.
