Cobra Fi2000R

Who is using a Cobra Fi 2000R EFI race tuner on their 2007 and later FXDC, and what are the results, would you recomend purchasing,

I have a chance to purchase one for $50 from someone who was going to install it but has since sold his ride and bought another already fitted with a SERT

Just buy a real tuner! Anything else is a band-aid. If you're going to do it, do it right! You will feel and hear a world of difference!

I've been using one for about six months. It works great for me. If all you have changed are pipes and air cleaner then this is the ticket, and for $50.00 bucks...

If all you need to do is richen the mixture, these units are fine. I researched nearly all of them and it is very similar to the TFI unit I run.

Cobra FI2000R

Nigelgeast,
This is a follow up to your post in June. I bought an 09 Superglide this year and added Rush slip-ons. I'm gettin a lot of popping on decel and I'm considering adding a Cobra FI2000R to correct it.
Are you running one now? and are your happy with it? Did it solve the pop on decel issue?

For just pipes/AC/ or little pep, It's great. I'm happy as can be with mine. I don't really see the need to spend all that extra $ for the PC or SERT.....$50 is a great deal I'd say do it!!

IMO, I never understood spending the extra $ for the other tuners for just a few extra HP's. If you're looking for major HP upgrade I'd think you'd have to make mechanical upgrades.
