Been there done all that but it never gets off the ground.

Obviously the owners are not interested. Too many people say yes when asked if they would want one but do not ante up when its time to pay. Not sayin the (very) few people here now, are in that group, but it takes a very large number of for real buyers to step up and make it worthwhile. Way too many big talkers who are only that, talkers.

I'd say the sig pic of RonnR (hand sketching a VTwin) with hdforums.com under it, would be an excellent starter Shirt pic. Generic enough to appeal to a large number of HD riders, and specific enough to the HD product without stepping on Harleys licensing bullsh!t.

It'd be great if this all could/would work out, but it's gonna take the site owner's ok and it sounds like Terry has stated he's looking into it.........so nothing is really in the works.

I can dig that...just talking eventually. There's no doubt that if someone can make it, post a link to buy one, and there'd be thousands of sales.

Why doesn't the site use another site like zazzle or something similar? Come up with the designs, someone else does the actual work and selling.... % of sales goes to pay for it.. looks like anyway. Might be worth looking at... sites like HDF are prime customers for the site like I mentioned.

But it's gotta come from the site owners.... would be easy to do.... make a call out on the different forums for design work.... we could have some sick shirts and stuff....

for example:

I'd buy a shirt. I'm constantly talking about the site. I got flamed for this before, but I'd like a patch to add to my vest.

I'd buy a shirt AND a patch, hell, damn near all the mods I've made to my bike came from here.

I have a source for patches... we just ran 200 of them... I think my cost was $0.82 each, delivered to my door and took 3 days from the time I submitted the art until they were in hand... and they look better in person than in the pics, by far. That price actually would have been cheaper, but the fully stitched edge and iron-on adhesive each added 10 cents to the price per patch.

oh and if you look close, you'll notice shocks Here's one of my first designs for it...
