fatbob....i was told they sound like the rush 1.75 but not sure...

on thier fatbob or other bike... do they get blue easy...
thanks for your time..i just want to be sure that
i dont get a cheap sound on my bike....
i think you can understand......
Dont know if they sound like Rush or not but I love mine. Deep tone at idle not too loud but when you twist the throtle they start to roar. No bluing on mine after two years, your mileage may vary...
I love my khrome werks mufflers
Learned about them from this sight
I believe the cam change I am doing will make it better yet
my buddies Duce sounds great because the cam enhanses the mufflers
If you mean three inch baffles, thats almost double a 1.75 I doubt in that case they would sound anything at all like a 1.75. Anyhow Fatts didn't your chrome guy say anything about re-chromeing.how much could he get mine done for? and we will work from there. just offering, you know new chrome at the price I mentioned would look.....well new!
How much for the chrome werks with disposable baffles?

we work with high quality chrome.he says by the size and measurement i give
him from my stock exhaust 200.00.he has to glass blast because sand blasting will
leave the surface too rough.he say that we cant just rechrome over the other chrome,,
if we do that it is cheaper but it will not last ...they will not work like that...

I have the Khrome Werks 3"hp+ on my Fat Bob and like them very much. Deep sound, bark when you hit it , but not too loud when cruising. All my riding buds think they sound great. I was going to get the rush 1.75 but thought the Khrome Werks sounded better after listening to videos on You Tube. Both sound good and I don't think you will be dissappointed with either. Khrome Werks are less expensive and don't sound as tinney in my opinion. The chrome is top notch and haven't done anything but shine bright for me.
I have Khrom werks exhaust on my '97 Convertible and I think they sound pretty good although I think I would like to have something a little quiter.
I am going to check around for a set of Screaming Eagles or stock mufflers. If I find a set at a reasonable price I will probably sell the Khrom Werks.
Again, the Khrom Werks sound great but I am looking for a little quiet.
