spacer for fatbob brake pedal

has anyone had to use a spacer for their brake pedal? i have an 09 fatbob and it seems to hit the brake i have to bend my foot at an uncomfortable angle,it seems to be due to the width of the tank. i was wondering if anyone else has this same problem and if they found an after market spacer to bring their pedal out a little further to the side or a more comfortable pedal.no problem on the shift side. they are forward controls.thanks rich

Kuryakyn makes brake pedals and toe shifters that are a little bit longer. I have them on my Fat Bob.

Has your pedal been adjusted too far down? You can adjust your pedal position up and down at the piston/reservoir. There is a turnbuckle and set nut arrangement. Just loosen the nut, pull the rod off the pedal and spin the rod in or out until the pedal is in a better position.

If anything I think my pedal sticks out too far...

'course you realize you can just grab it with a crescent wrench and bend it out a little! My bike fell over once and my BP was bent in.....straight now!
