07/ FXD with SE air cleaner Rush Slipons 2" Baffles. Thinking of putting on a power commander HAS ANYONE DONE THIS with a about the same setup as I have ... Was it worth the $$$$ does it make a difference in the performance
thanks for any info
How is your bike running now? I had some SE pipes and SE filter on...before I put on the PCV I went for a little ride and it did not run nice at all. The PCV made a big difference than without one...but can't recall how it compared from my stock AC, SE pipes, and xied.
If you have the free(er) flowing pipes and the Stage 1 AC ... I would suggest you'd want a fuel controller if only to keep your bike more "healthy".

I have the same setup on my 09 FXDC I ran it for 2 days till my PVC V came in yesterday,,, It ran like crap... Put it on yesterday an today put 300 plus miles on... It ran like a dream....
Dont have the same setup as u do, but I ran my bike with just the pipes on for a little bit and it didnt run like it should have...got my Heavy Breather and PCV installed after getting it, now the bike runs simply amazing..I rly think adding the pipes ac and pcv rly woke the bike up and have no regrets at all
You will for sure get a few more ponies. I'm assuming you have the download or something for your fuel.she will run fine like that but there is a power boost with pcV for sure and i beleive it to be the no 1 sold fuel management module for harley's. cost/dependability Its a good product, just make sure you get some pointers on the install k?

I just put mine on over the weekend, pc v with a big sucker and big radius, mine was ok with cycle shack slip-ons and nothing else before, but with all this it ran very, very good, way better than stock and not a single backfire or decel pop at all. Well, well worth the dollars and ditto here too, it will save your motor and everything will be much, much more taken care of in the long run. Without a fuel management system and various upgrades, you can burn out your heads or do some damage if youre running too lean and cant adjust for that.
Wife's Deluxe runs better with the PCV, SE cleaner and Longshots pipes. Had some decel popping, took it to a dyno shop who cleaned up the 1500 RPM and down range for $50. still some decel noise in the upper ranges, may just spend the $250 and get a custom map done for the whole throttle range.
I have a 2008 FXDF, with rush 1.75 slip-ons, SE heavybreather, and PC-V. Runs real nice and seems a little stronger than stock. I just told Jamie the setup and plugged it in. Ride safe Mike.
